As for the keyboards, I like the feel of the Lycosa A LOT (gummy, slim keys) but I HATE the fact that it doesn't have a few customizable keys (like the new G15). Sure, it has macros, but extra keys are just better for games, especially if they are on the left of the WSAD cluster. My pad is a Steel Series 5L, and it's the coolest pad I ever tried. The surface is cloth-like but the bottom is plastic so it works great.

I like Logitech mice more because they're heavy (not all of them, true, but all the Razer mice I tried were very light). Also I like the Logitech shape more, it fits great in my palm and I'm not touching the pad at all. I need to get a new mouse, though...the first button on my Logitech MX310 is starting to wear out to the point where I misclick in games, and even when fucking web browsing. I'll have to reevaluate both Logitech and Razer's current line. I'm thinking of getting a Razer mouse just because they sponsored TSL, but we'll see.

It was way too big for my hands. (I do have small hands, but from reading at the site, it should be still fit my hand size.) I don't know how to explain it, but clicking on the panels or w/e on the mouse felt really clumsy and un-comfortable because the gap between the panel and the ''sensor'' was so large. (My mouse that came with the PC has no such gap, thus clicking on it is ALOT faster.) That probably didn't make much sense. The bottom line is: I don't understand how that possibly could be a good gaming mouse, when the average office mouse that came with my PC was a lot better in SC, CS and in pretty much everything. And a lot more comfortable. And if you wonder if I gave it a chance, I forced myself to use and try it out on a MMO, SC and CS, on a few day period. But I just ended up using my old mouse. Buying my shit from Logitech from now on.

Also, my Lycosa's keys' skins have been starting to wear D: Well, I do have a keyboard with macro keys and a display panel (G15), but I wanted this one because I liked the gummy keys, which are also slim (big big plus). The tarantula had normal keys IIRC, so there was no point in getting that. Besides, a friend of mine won this Lycosa for #1st place in an ESL starcraft contest, and sold it to me @ pretty much half-price, brand new, so I figured, why not. I probably wouldn't have bought it from a store unless my Logitech broke down. As for my logitech stuff, though they're quite old (3+ yrs), they didn't break down. The G15's illumination flickers sometimes between medium and high intensity on the right side of the keyboard, and the "paint job" on my G5 wore out especially where the finger tips touch, but apart from that, the equipment is working perfectly still. (I did change the Teflon skid pads with some SteelSeries a while back, because I screwed up the original ones while dismantling my mouse, but that could have been avoided had I some brains) P.S.: NonFactor - I played with a DiamondBack a lot, and didn't have trouble with accuracy, besides, lots of people use it for professional gaming, so I don't think it's a general issue. Are you sure the sensor was clean? Even things like fallen hair can disrupt the sensor. As for the gap between the sensor/pad, I'm sure that was well-calculated by Razer... but then again, you could have had the back luck of getting a defective model. Though I doubt it.

Keyboard is on the edge of the table to the left, cable just goes to the left and down to my comp. Mouse cable goes under keyboard, and off the table too. See, the thing is, my mouse has super sexy cable (love Logitech for this), which is pretty stiff (covered in textile) and doesn't "pull" to any direction if it's not 100% stretched, and it's not. So I don't need any of that useless stuff. I'm willing to spend extra money for keyboards/mice/pads but other accessories like gloves, lights, cable management, seem really useless.
