Last season I offraced Protoss for 2 days and got C- immediately. With Terran I also probably could have easily gotten D+ in 2 days. If a player is actually B-, his mechanics and general game knowledge should carry enough over to easily defeat any D player caliber player. A player with B- should be able to execute what he needs to do, know what he needs to do and do tasks like macro and making workers (something most D level players completely fail at). iirc when Draco was laddering in SCL he would 99 proxy gate every game and come up with outrageous disadvantages but still win just because he was better overall than the other player (like C/B level I'm guessing). Ya it's his main race but still, just having a better grasp of the game with one race should carry over to an offrace enough to easily beat a D.
In this case, him being Protoss should have given him even more of an advantage as an offrace, since getting to C- is extremely easy with it in my experience, and would probably only take a week to get C.
So basically if he's B-, his offrace should be better than D level... otherwise I highly suspect he isn't B- or cheesed his way up there. I didn't much this season so maybe B- got really easy to get, because I remember last season the skill level dropped dramatically. Maybe it happened again this season.

I beat a D+ Terran in a straight game with Protoss even after supply blocking myself 4 or 5 times, including my first Reaver, and going in with zero build order whatsoever beyond 10/15 gate.
I've never beaten a D+ player of any race EVER other than that, after 100+ games with Terran and a whopping 3 with Protoss.

any smart good player can play all races at a high level. if you are only good at the first 10 minutes because thats how far your build order is memorized, then you are going to be horrible with the other races.

Unlikely, but very plausible. B- isn't legendary or extremely good, even with their main race, it's simply very solid with few common mistakes IMO. Depends on how much he plays his off-race.
