I live 35 kilometers from Gothenburg Sweden and it's a kinda big forest fire about 20 minutes from my apartment. They have evacuated everyone living close by (about 25 houses). About 30 rescue vehicles have passed by.
Now it smells so much smoke here.. and outside it starting to hurt your eyes a little. Jesus i've never experienced such a thing before.
They have tanker trucks going back and forth between nearby lakes filling up with water to use against it.
Im going to check my smoke detectors batteries at least once before going to sleep - thats if I can sleep in this nasty smell!
Edit: from the newspaper lol Grandma Kerstin Dannert with his dog followed the daughter of Karin Karlsson son Joakim who evacuated from her house

Damn, best of luck. Stay safe.

In this season? That's freaky. Take care.

This happened near San Diego in the U.S. last year, and my university shut down while no one left their houses. The ash was so thick that you couldn't even see 10 feet down the road, the air was a solid block of gray. It's literally Silent Hill come to life.
I really hope that you're safe. Keep your front door light on tonight in case you have to make a run for it.

oh shitty =/
best of luck.

So kind of like a TvZ where I get a shitload of firebats, dropships dropping 7 rines 1 med, and try to contain the zerg from expanding by not letting them take the third gas and dominate me with imbalisks.

Yup That's about it.

forest fires are pretty cool as long as nobody gets hurt and no houses burn down.

Only YOU can prevent forest fires.
|
is there any risk of the fire reaching you ?? if so why arent you evacuated ?
