Just do something nice for her to win her back. Don't be a dick by just forgetting it. Chances are she's just as upset about having no one to go to prom with as you are.

Regarding your situation. Just go out, apologize, avoid further stupid mistakes and if all else fails it seems like you can ask your mom to prom~ Just trying to lighten the mood, buddy

1. You should have either forced yourself to chat with her, w/ or w/out your mom, DAMN your a MAN and you should be talking to chicks, why whould she care?? Unless your girl is some sort of prostitute, than it should be alright with your mom, your mom should be PROUD 2. Never make a stat like 'I have no date in prom" it's like you want her to hear you, and she might misunderstand what your trying to say, she could have misinterpreted it as you don't want her to be your prom date anymore. 3. Why did you have to lie?? You could have just told her the truth, well I understand that in a situation like that, you were looking for a better excuse, but seriously, the truth shall set you FREE!! 4. www.persiangap.com just type in her messenger ID so you know if she's online or not. 5. Give her time to COOL DOWN, if you keep on texting her or what not, she'll just get annoyed alright? So give it time, and then when the time is right... Ask her out on a date, but (just to be on the sweet side) bring her a bouquet of flowers, or chocolate, as a peace offering. Ok?? Let me know how this turns out. :D

She asked you to the prom, and your status line must have made it look like you didn't wanna go. It could have been read that way. Don't be a fool. Put your pride aside and fix it. QFT

The internet is a method of communicating information, nothing more, though I suppose it has profane uses. Chatting is not the same as downloading porn (which isn't bad anyway either - different discussion I guess), or soliciting sex from minors, or harassing people etc. Parenting is always the answer - not preventing your children from using an input device for sending English characters to a device that interprets them and the sends them across a network for another person to read. Bad assumption. Many parents still don't understand today's technology, and perhaps never will. I've lived out of the house of two years now and my mom still asks if I'm "addicted" to "that Star-thing". She asks me every phone call. And she can't tell the difference between sc, my desktop, and online cards. "Are you playing cards?" she asks while I'm playing sc. I hope I can keep up with technology so I can identify with my children when/if I have them. EDIT: OH, AND THIS!!!

This can be a good lesson for you, and just remember, if she's Asian there's more than a decent chance she wasn't going to get drunk and sleep with you after prom anyway.

it doesn't seem like this chick will be really hard for you to get back, she is probably just playing some immature game and she wants some attention from you. normally i wouldn't put up with this shit but for the sake of a prom date just let her know you are sorry then copy paste a dialogue from some chick flick where the guy comforts and girl about her problems and you'll be set. also, you posting your "prom status" as an away message is a totally gay thing to do. that's something a chick would do, not you. you are a man

Well, I am pretty shy to ask any girls to go with me, she was the one asked me if I want to go to Prom with her, maybe because she knew that I was too shy to ask. About my mom, I think she just wanted me to concentrate in studying and nothing else. Walk, bus, train. Look up her home phone. Ask her friends if they have her mobile. Hell even email her. If you want to contact her, there is definitely a way. It sounds like something that can be smoothed over through explanation and a gift of some kind.
