I'm so angry right now. I've lost about 7 straight 2v2 games on Blood Bath due to incompetent partners(Like won't work together or is worse than D-, if you know what I mean).
As if loosing 7 games in a row wasn't bad enough for my tiny ego, some doushebag even stalked me in different names just to BS ME! It happened twice! God I'm so angry right now. I feel like punching something!
I guess I'm writing just to ventilate. I hate East but it's the only server I've ever known. My first game was on East and I never really moved to West for some reason.
I hate these idiotic fucking D+ kids who think they are "gosu" and call people "Kid" when they win by rushing lings.
Anyone ever had similar experiences?, and if anyone wants someone to play BB with every other night or so I'm down. I haven't played SC in like months, but I like playing casual games on LT and BB. I ain't really knowledgeable on new maps.

Well the server hierarchy are like iccup, west/asia/europe, all other servers, east. Just switch server and keep east for playing with friends. East is the bnet equivalent to youtbue comments.
I'm starting to rack up a big amount of posts bashing east. I kinda wonder why since I avoid the place as much as possible.

Maybe he just has a shitty connection? or thinks extra high latency is actually better for gameplay. I remember I used to think that.

most pubs don't know what extra high lat does. and since they all have 60apm, they can't tell the difference between low and extra high. generally what happens is that when you are a noob to bnet, some guy with like 5000 games played (also a noob...) will change it to extra high, so then you're stuck thinking "oh wow this gosu guy sets it to extra high so that must be right!"

I know EXACTLY what you mean...then I cuss everyone out and tell them to stop being dumb and to leave it alone since there's no damn lag...and then no one touches it, but then I miss my timing for something...like refinery on 12 or something. -_____-;;

I still play on east because of the friends I have there. There are a few (very few) decent pockets of goodness on east you just need to know where to look. I started out on east back in 2003 or something and it's always been my stomping grounds.

Yeah East is fun I still play there a fair amount, I definitely recognize your name, we've had some gg's I'm sure (I was probably playing under History-Lzuruha or KeepBack200FT I'm not sure). But yeah it can be hard to find the decent players on East but they do exist.

In a sense I don't get angry when we lose due to the skill gap my partner has. I think I was more mad because my partners didn't even wanna cooperate with me. I'd ask them things like what BO are they going?, or wanna go mid? or wanna go red?, and they wouldn't even respond. That really pisses me off. People who play 2vs2 like it's separate 1vs1's on the same map. 2vs2 is all about teamwork and when people don't cooperate it just pisses me off.

I've recently been playing Phantom BGH games for fun, and it's pretty ridiculous to find out that you can often beat the "Phantom" on your own because they suck so much.

just join a clan, thats how you can find the "good" players
Tell a clan recruiter that you'll join clan if some1 on that clan can beat you.
Plus people have the craziest BO and timings sometimes..

Things wrong with OP bolded.
But yea like someone said, I'll play you/with you and/or read my BB guide blog. It doesn't really cover 2v2, but its similar strategies. Just like any other no ramp/cliff map with wide choke. Play it like Hunters builds but obviously faster BO.

Don't play BB. At least do 2v2 temple. In that circumstance, even when I get an incompetent partner, I can usually win. Why? Because my opponents are cocky little D- rank shits who think they are D+ and claim they are C+. Too bad I can tell the difference.

I've actually had people leave the game because I kept changing latency back to low. I don't understand why some people are adamant on extra high latency even when things are perfectly fine.

I've asked some who set it to extra high latency, and the response was always like "I don't want it to lag"... so basically they don't understand the consequence of playing on extra high (namely that units respond less quickly, making micro harder), probably because they don't realize that this is the case then. So they think extra high is always the best thing to do because it prevents lag (sometimes...) while not having a consequence. Which is of course false... but when you try to explain it they'll call you noob etc. because "everyone" (every other retard) plays on extra high.

I just don't really care anymore. When I play with my friends on B.Net vs. pubbies for fun, it doesn't take more than literally half a second to punch in the Low Lat key sequence. I mean, if they want to change it back to extra high, then let them be. But I'm gonna always change it back. It doesn't matter anymore to me.

east has lots of hackers but I usually enjoy joining pubbie games there. Most of them are 80-110(130max)apm hackers that have nothing better to do but hack. Although they hack it seems like it keeps me on top of my multi-tasking; always checking where all my units are (especially zerg) which increases my apm. I can easily feel them hacking just by scouting. I grew up playing on east along with other active servers back in 99-01 including gamei, and most of my friends originated from east as well.

to cope with east trash you must get used to it, or be so gosu that no matter what they say or do they're only humiliating themselves. Once you get good enough, its more fun if your ally sucks in 2v2's because that way you'll get a challenge and still give the others a run for their money.

keke me TT vs ZZ ----> they double 4 pool my partner and he's pretty much dead ----> me raping the crap out of both of them. Gotta love blood bath for games like that.
I've also played a couple 40 minute TvZs on bb which were ridiculously tiring and fun(despite my terran being low D level). I love abusing mass irradiate on bb because the map is so small that vessels can always run to the safety of your MM after an irradiate run. Also you kind of have to really keep the defiler count down because of how quickly swarm will get into your base and start raping you.

advloader tells me that most of the people I play on East average about 75apm or so.
