I've decided to dedicate one of my accounts to offracing. One day a week for practice will be set aside to develop my other race's. Heres my first TvP fpvod :O I know I fucked up alot, but hopefully next time I won't be as rusty.
Some advice would also be helpful concerning how my TvP is. I don't care how bad the criticism about me or the other protoss player is, as long as it's aimed to help me I'm cool with it. I know the protoss player was a noob, but my terran is nooby too so it was a pretty equal match :D
In this match, I tried to do a 4 fac push. Unfortunately, I only know the 110 timing push lol so I didn't really know when to move out. I just moved out when it felt right. Also I didn't realize weapons 2 required a starport. If it did, I would have gotten a dropship for some harassment also. I really hate, as a protoss, dropship play because it disrupts my economy so much its painful and my dragoons are always spaced poorly.
Also, I think I set up an ok terran push. It was a bit difficult reaching I and O constantly but I will get used to that. I don't quite get the concept of a terran push. How exactly is it supposed to work and how correctly was I using it in this situation?
Also how do you wallin and how do you guys place your factories? I didn't really plan through and just placed them wherever. In my opinion, that really messed up my macro and just wasted apm on finding the ones with add'ons and stuff....
always nice to have 1st Person VODs. ill watch these when not at work since i love your Toss VODs
regardingh off-racing there are two kinds of protoss. one whose (main) off-race is terran and one whose off-race is zerg.
this would be an interesting discussion. certainly some players styles reflect what kind of offrace that player would choose.
for instance, bisu is definetly a terran style protoss whereas jangbi would probably play zerg. july is more of a protoss zerg while savior is probably uses terran mostly when off-racing.
I'm sure you could tell this yourself but that Protoss wasn't so good. I don't think he had speed zealots the entire game! Interesting aggressive game by you though. One thing: try not to loose your first tank because that's sort of a big deal (always micro it away from the goons when attacking).
Heh .. one can tell by the micro that you are really a tosser.
To make a proper wall on that location, you have to build the barracks right next to the border of the map and the depos should be like you built them.
Overall, your build was so random... quite confusing.
Making the push is one of the hardest things as terran -- there is so much to keep track of during that time. Because you had such good positions, you should've mined up the outward side of your push as you were leapfrogging the tanks.. you did this sort of, but you forgot to bring scvs to also put turrets. You also forgot to bring your vultures altogether during one attack. Lucky for you this guy did not build a single zealot (where does one find these ppl??) during the game..
The music was pretty disturbing. Had to mute.
Finally, you should revise your encoding settings for the codec you use (or use a different codec. I suggest h.264) if you plan on making more vods... because this was nigh unwatchable.

just silly speculation but worth considering.
Savior plays Terran as his off-race. There are several VODs of this available(he played T in 2v2 in proleague and during a Bnet Attack, iirc)
Both Stork and Bisu used to be Terran players, as admitted in interviews.

I don't really know. I haven't played enough of my offraces to truly find out. Sometimes I feel like playing Zerg, other times I play Terran. I have strong points with both of them and I guess it's basically which one I play more that will be better.

Ya he had speedlots and only a few the last part of the game I think. I like to be an agressive Terran and really abuse my apm advantage over them. I would use dropships like every game if I know how, speed vulture runs, all that good stuff :D Also ya my tank micro was pretty sloppy

He played terran vs GoRush in a real match and got crushed

his mechanics and build seemed sound though, he just didnt expect gorush's 2hatch lurk -> 4gas mutaguard on that map
My dad stole my speakers, then left for a 4 day business trip and "forgot" to give my speakers back. I can't record any sound at the moment and can't find out how to because I used to just record the starcraft sound/music out of the speakers but....also It was my mistake using movie maker and wmv format. I generally use h.264 mp4 format which really saves space and is decent quality but I just though to use movie maker for some reason..
