so started 2 days ago just 10 minutes ago got to D+ there were some frustrating moments but i've learned things such as a) be damn paranoid zvt cuz 80% of the time theres going to be bunker rush b) zvp -> proxy 2 gate way - _- c) i suck at defiler usage my macro went totally down hill when i was swarming everywhere and sending lings and lurkers in.. gotta practice more swarmmsszzzz so far im' 13-10 :S let's see how far i can go!   | ||

It took me a few months to go from 50% D to solid D+, and I'm just now making the transition to C-. | ||

I offrace zerg often (just finally got to D+ on the offrace woot), and 80% is definitely an accurate amount. The number of times I've been bunker rushed is unreal... really gives me an appreciation for how amazing savior's drones are at holding off a bunker rush. | ||

65+102=167*15=2505 minutes 1 day=1440 minutes*2=2880 minutes so he has spent less than 2 days of actual play time over the course of what 2/2.5 months? not that much at all | ||

On a side note, does anyone think this season feels even more competitive than past ones? I reached C+ much earlier in the past 3 seasons. Because so many people cheese, i've been going 12 pool speedlings in a lot of my ZvP and ZvT games. (depending on the map) Most tosses are bad at stopping run-bys and it also counters 2 gate well. 1 gate tech is a pretty good counter, but that's the rarest toss build, and if scouted, i can cancel speed and stop building lings. ZvT it's great vs rushes, and FE below their ramp. Against 2 rax or 1 rax FE, its not so good unless the terran doesn't keep a good ramp block. The only strong terran counter is a wall in, and you can often predict which maps that happens on. (destination, colosseum) If they go fast vults without walling, speedlings are faster than slow vults, and they probably only have a couple marines. | ||
