Hmm so after dinner I went to this school club thing with my friends and after it ended, I THINK I left my cellphone there. Not sure how but when I went to say hi to somebody, I most likely left it on the chair because I was an idiot and idk why I did that. Anyways, have you guys ever lost a cellphone before?
This is the first time and I'm pretty pissed off about it. Luckily I have only have 6 months left till my contract is over so I've had this phone for a long long time now (one and a half years). Tomorrow I need to go home anyways but here is what I'm gonna do:
1. Use my friends phone to text my phone and include all my contact, facebook, etc because voicemail won't work (needs PW). Wait a day or two for a response. 2. If no response, since I'm going home, disable the phone. 3. Either, if I get a response from my friend, I'll enable the phone back but if not, I will probably have to buy a shitty phone temporarily.
I heard that canceling your plan is pretty expensive from what I've heard.
Does it cost to enable/disable phone serivce on my phone or is it free? I assume you have to pay, but is it expensive?
i am so pissed off right now.

I lost my phone like 2 weeks ago, I freaking used it in my cousin's car and then when he dropped me off at home I couldn't find it in his car. WTF
I use sprint, I called the support and asked them to deactive my line, I think it was free. I'm pretty pissed too

u should cancel it asap my friend lost her phone and she was bummed out cause she couldnt text or call anyone for a week. Then her parents got the bill back and there was about $1000 charged on just her phone. They had it auto-wired to their checking account, so thats a real bummer. She spent the next few days crying.

WTF masami got a call from my friend who was also at that club too and he asked masami where i live in campus omg this better be true!

just call up your service provider and explain the situation. most of the time, they're understanding and offer you to sign up for another contract and thus a new phone. i've known many people who've lost phones and simply called em up and have been offered new contracts - especially if their current contract is almost up like in your case.

man i hope thats true, that'll relieve my worries ffffffffsssssssssssssss

I once left my cell at the bus and when i got home realized im a idiot. Than my dad told me the bus i rode its last stop is not too far and the bus driver will be taking a break. I run like a idiot to the stop and noticed the phone isnt in the bus. I called my number with my mom's cell and found out that someone took it and we decided on a meeting place and she gave me it back. People are so nice.

I know how you feel. No seriously, I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL. Tonight I was biking to work and I brought my wallet with me(when don't I..?) and put it in my jacket pocket. I'm usually pretty good for keeping good care of my wallet but I must have left the pocket unzipped. On the way to work it slid out of my pocket without me knowing. I got to work, and as I was about to change into work clothes I reached into my pocket for my wallet to take out and it wasn't there. First reaction was:
The whole day at work I was pissed and depressed. I had called up my mom and told her about the incident. I didn't even have bus fare anymore to go home so I asked her to pick me up. Near the end of my shift my little brother walks into where I work and pulls my wallet out of his pocket. This time first reaction:
I now want to marry my wallet. So happy btw, my mom found it laying on the side of the road under a street lamp. A FUCKING STREET LAMP, HOW DID NOBODY SEE IT AND STEAL IT?!!? =D Anyway, it made my day. But that really sucks for you, I hope you find it. There is always hope, my mom has forgotten her cell phone at a bar twice actually and both times someone was kind enough to call "Home" on her contact list and managed to get ahold of my mom to give it back. gl.
