I learned typing in korean from playing Starcraft, and learned vocab from this site. An example is 소심해, which means sensitive. I used it to my mom and she was like OMGZ where did you learn that? It's not like some equivalent of a random SAT word but she was suprised.

BTW I love this little group of koreans that are on this blog just talking about the lives of Korean Americans.

also, one of the greatest way to learn korean is through korean community sites. those sites can teach you alot, especially with trendy words such as 우왕ㅋ굳ㅋ, 안습, 지못미, 여병추, to name a few.

who cares if they have korean/english accents. as long as they can communicate perfectly fine and write well, they should be considered bilingual.

Oh I don't care about the accents, it's just when people claim to be "bilingual" and aren't. And it's pretty objective on what communicating "perfectly fine" actually is.

newbies. I'm Korean, I moved to South America when I was 1, then moved to the US when I was 18. People in the US are really confused because my english has a latino accent LOL.
