My valid Victorian that i knew took a shit load of ap classes. had a 4.83 when he graduated. A- vs A A is obviously better but not all schools put the - or + on a transcript it really depends usually only private schools put a + or -.

These people feel stressed out because the difference between getting somewhere and getting fucked is always like "did I get 89% or 90+... Even then, am I beating out everyone else competing for the same money?" Be happy mum and dad are paying for your school, jerk. Lots of families can't, which means working for a long time just to scrounge the money for tuition. If the difference between and A and an A+ meant a year of your life working, or a year going to school and getting on track faster, you'd probably be stressed too. Not to mention the immense pressure some parents put on their kids to do well, for which A- isn't acceptable to them. Just FYI to the ignorant. Oh. Hi. I'm Asian. My parent's business collapsed and my dad is working minimum wage at a beauty supply store. My mom is working as a low wage manicurist in some nail store run by a tyrannical white lady. I have to move out of the house I've lived in for my whole life because the mortgage is exceeding our monthly income. And guess where I go to Uni? NYU! I'm a jerk. AITTE.

I don't understand why you think I'm implying you're a jerk. You're the type of person who should be stressed out about scholarships and money... EDIT: Oh, you're the OP... I'm not even sure if I believe you, or if you're trying to mock asians... or what... Stop being so mysterious

If this guy is so exceedingly humble that he thinks no one should ever be stressed out about money, and that he is proof of this, because of his money woes, and how much he doesn't talk about it to the world... Well, he's very strange. Well, it wasn't a debate really... just a rant. Maybe I overdid it... Maybe she is indeed worried about scholarship money. I didn't go through every possibility before ranting... But still, those are really good grades, and I can't believe she's so worried, it kinda ticked me off... meh. Eh, I was probably overreacting. I have this weird thing when it comes to girls like these. Because I've talked to a lot of them... Bitter memories I guess.

It's okay. I <3 you. Everyone gets upset over really random things once in awhile. I haven't talked to many, but in my experience the Asian girls I've met weren't 100% school freaks... It was just one facet of their personality, and frankly I was happy to give them the right to do it because I would never study 8 hours straight everyday for a whole school year.

My school goes by a 12 point scale, 12 being the highest you can make for an A+ in a non AP class, 15 for the highest in an AP class. A B+ in an AP class is also a 12, so it's equivalent to an A+ in a non AP class. My valedictorian to be has a GPA of about 14 (that's basically getting perfect A+'s in all of his AP classes taking into the non AP classes that he needed for graduation. I have around a 13.2ish, and I'm about 15 people behind him. So basically I consistently make an A or A- in a couple of classes that he always makes A+'s in. He's getting a full ride to wherever he wants to go, and I get nowhere near that. that's because your high school probably inflates and what is an A+/A difference should actually be an A/B+ difference or something of the like
