my housemates and I were doing 1v3 team melee (we do this quite often). Today, I noticed that they knew everything that I was doing (countering reaver drop, etc.) so I checked the replay and they were using fucking OBLIVION. Like WHAT THE FUCK I'm so appalled that I don't even know what to say. I basically went off on them and told them to fuck off... Since this blog lacks material, I'll throw in a poll: Poll: What should I do? (Vote): Forgive them (Vote): Never speak to them again   | ||

If they came up to me and asked me to give them vision as a challenge, I would've done it for sure since I beat them regularly even 1v3 TMM. I'm just angry (shocked?) that they resorted to hacking ~_~ | ||

If they are your rl friends just forgive them. Talk to them about it but dont overreact like not speaking to them ever or something. When i first found out my friend hacked i was about to talk to him about it but i realized it wasnt my business and let the two figure it out themselves. The guy who got hacked though took it way better than me. | ||

2. Aren't TM replays broken and corrupt? 3. I've noticed that the antihack plugin from chaos reports lots of hacks when you play TM. Hopefully this isn't what they have been judged by. If they really did hack, that's just low. | ||

It's pretty obvious if you check on BWChart when the player creates the peon, and commands split the first 5 milliseconds or something. Oblivion has that function | ||

So the moral of this story Infinity is that... if you beat the shit out of them, then they'll stop using maphacks for sure. TRY IT! | ||

Team melee is when you're playing the same player with multiple guys, so imagine you doing all the micro and someone else all the macro. It's still 1v1 in terms of units but the other team has the advantage of being able to do more stuff, provided they work well together. | ||

Maybe if they wanted to competitive good players it would be sort of ok to get mad at them hacking, but some noobs playing a 10 year old game that they'll never be anything close to decent at for fun...kind of stupid to get legitimately angry over a damn game. | ||
