Maybe you play pure macro style, but if you've ever tried to micro I'm sure you know how ridiculously frustrating it is when you tell a unit to do something and it waits almost a full second before doing it. Here's an example in each race of a strategy/tactic that is pretty much impossible without lan latency: Protoss: Corsair-Reaver vs zerg. Good luck microing that when you tell your reaver to get in the shuttle and it waits for the hydras to snipe it before obliging. Terran: SK Terran. Playing vs zerg with no tanks requires godly micro, and if you tell your marines to split or retreat when lurkers burrow and they wait a second, they'll all be dead. Zerg: Muta micro. Need I say more? | ||
