I Stand at the window, staring silently at falling snow. Drifting with the wind, it lays itself to rest, ignoring the rude awakenings of crunching feet, giving way before the frothing anger of the asphalt river. Taking a peek at the outside world behind safety of glass. The houses across the way are ginger bread, jolly and bright and soon to be gone, down to the graham cracker shingles. I lay there still and silent, window above blowing open in the wind. Another quick imprint. Covered by snow.
