EDIT: And yeah the girls thread are really annoying too, of course you can't ask your "teacher" or anything like with homework about girls but TL isn't exactly the best place to come seeking girl help, I mean come on, it's a gaming website. Talk to your friends or something, I'm sure any advice they give is just as good if not better than random strangers on a gaming website.

TL is alot more than a StarCraft site we are one of the strongest gaming communities there is, imo the strongest. Even though SC is the main focus of this site many other things come up all the time and when a user needs help with their homework they can post it in the blog section, that is what its meant for, random posts that dont pertain to the rest of the site.

I view Teamliquid as way more than just a Starcraft site. It's just a general site for people sharing interests in Starcraft, and therefore sharing the same qualities that make one like SC, to just chill together. Why should it be confined to SC-only talk?
