Anyone had this happen before?
So the other night im playing BGH PHANTOM games with my friend right, just to pass the time. Like always im playing with chaoslauncher and the hack detector plugin enabled and like always there is some idiot using automine. Hackers piss me off so whenever i see this i msg my friend "XXX is hacking lets kill him".
Last night was a particularily active night for hackers and we did this to around 10 of the idiots. I think one of them may have done something to my account...

Well if you google it you'll see mostly D2 players complaining. And there's this:
(8) This account was detected using a third-party program (hack) with one of our games on Battle.net. This account is now permanently banned Any third-party program that is designed to affect the way the user interacts with Battle.net is considered a hack program. This includes seemingly harmless third-party utilities that work with the game to provide functions that were not included by the game designers. While many of these utilities might not have been created to disrupt the balance of the game, they alter the original design of the program. The detection of any such program by Battle.net may result in the closure of the user's account or even the temporary or permanent banning of the associated CD-Key.

Damn, looks like you're one of the unlucky few who gets an account banned by Blizzard for using Chaos. One of those fuckers must have reported you or something.
|
Yeah, this happened a lot when I used D2JSP (the site). You got perma-banned for third party programs, I guess it was due to chaos? Not a good sign.
|
yeah if youre unlucky with chaos they can get you. they got my account so im playing with another. oh well. im still going to use chaos though.

Can't you just make a new id or do they track down your ip address?
|
i think its by cd key which makes u buy a new one or acquire one somehow
|
|
isn't that for diablo 2...
anyways, this happened to a lot of my friends a few years ago on d2. there was a huge banning and like all the people who used a maphack (pretty much everyone) got banned. it was hilarious.

lol, now thats ironic.... a hacker reporting somone for dropping him
|

he was quite pissed off about it, but at least hes playing sc again.

I should also note that I use Blacklist every now and then so I can ip ban people from pub games. It injects a DLL just like a maphack or something so I would say its more likely that this caused it than chaos.
Either way I really hope that they are cracking down on cheaters even if I get an account locked its totally worth it.

That's because warden has been re-activated about a week ago. Maphackers and the like are getting "LOSS" when they win or play an UMS. This seems to flag the account as being a hacker and bans it. Unfortunatley, Chaoslauncher may have been caught up in this too, I do not know..!

(2) Spamming in a channel Please be advised that Blizzard Entertainment has an aggressive stance against any account that is used to spam a Battle.net chat channel. (4) Attempting to obtain CD-Keys Please be advised that Blizzard Entertainment has an aggressive, zero-tolerance stance against any account being used by someone to obtain or steal CD-Keys or to con or trick users into giving out their CD-Keys on Battle.net. This offense violates the Battle.net Terms of Use Agreement and/or End User License Agreement of the game.
(5) Harassment of other users Please be advised that Blizzard Entertainment does not support or condone the use of any account to harass or threaten other users on Battle.net. |
My account was banned on west as well... GeaR[Uchiha]
|
Yea but u guys were actually hacking?
|
oh damn...no wonder my CD key got temporarily disabled that one time... I think it was because i was being bm and kept spamming this one guy LOL
|
i assume we all use chaos. ^^
|
don't think I've gotten any accounts closed yet... how interesting
edit: look - www.battle.net
"As part of our continued effort to ensure a fair and fun online experience for all Battle.net players, we have expanded our efforts to remove cheaters from StarCraft and Diablo II. We have identified and closed over 350,000 StarCraft and Diablo II accounts which were found to be using third-party hacks.
The Diablo II CD keys associated with the closed Diablo II accounts are now restricted from playing on Battle.net for approximately 30 days. Repeat offenders will have their accounts closed and their CD keys permanently banned from Battle.net.
As a reminder, we reserve the right to close the accounts and ban the CD keys of players who are caught cheating on Battle.net. Cheating ruins the game experience for legitimate players, and we will not tolerate it. "

I use chaos but im really hoping it was the ip ban plugin ive been using. My CD key is not banned nor is my IP, Only my account Pau.se[7e].
|
its not an IP ban.. its just closed accounts. I had 3 account names I was using with chaos launcher and theyre all closed now, but no IP ban

it's worse- they give you a cd key ban. you would need to get a cd key.

Haha, what the hell. I wonder how many times someone's parent has actually faxed permission for their kid to play on battle net -_-

It's just an account ban. It happened to me due to chaos.

So does anyone know which plugin is doing it?
There must be a reason for the inconsistency.
|
I've been using chaosplugin, cpu savior, hack detector, and latencychanger with no ban
I wonder if any progamer accounts were banned...?
|
Aww, that sucks jimminy. Its really gay that they would ban you for using Chaos.
|
I dont even mind really. It was only my account not my CD key. I would even gladly get my CD key banned as long as the hackers did too and blizzards anti hack stayed up to date.
