Ultimate ears is the best imo

Bose are bad. They're way overrated, and can't even compare to real audiophile headphones. ESPECIALLY the QC models.

On the tv issue I recommend like what Hawk said, just wait on black friday to purchase yourself a good deal on a TV. I bought a 50 inch Sharp Aquos 1080p for $999 but this was a wholesale electronics store...which have sales even if its not a holiday. Anyways back to the point about the tv. Just pick up your newspaper or even look online during turkey day and then narrow down which you might want. Im sure a 32 inch LCD might be priced for $349-399 or maybe even cheaper on that black friday. You might even opt to choose between some better brands (samsung, sharp,LG) then a westinghouse/vizio. I've seen those tv's being displayed when I bought my Sharp and they seemed a bit flakey but that coulda just been the hardware surrounding the LCD that made it seem that way I suppose.
The car issue just go with the fuzion for economy/comfort. Even thou a decked out v8 mustang would be awesome especially the new ones with the panoramic roof is just totally off the hook I know I wouldnt be able to afford the gas that v8 will gurgle. Or whatever suits you best.
Oh before I wrap this up. Two years ago on a black friday sale I purchased a 20 inch Samsung LCD 2ms paying $136 out the door. That was two years ago and still to this date a 20 inch ranges from $179+ especially the samsungs. Other then that I probably seen a 19 inch go for $149 on some holiday sale a while back. Just make sure you arrive early or maybe even order offline if its available for the TV if you do decide to wait until black friday.
Oh and headphones and mp3 player I really dont have much input on these. I tend to be rough with my headphones so I usually just buy some $15-20 dollar sony/philips phones and I've been thru 2 ipods and 2 creative mp3 players. Done with ipods since they are underfeatured and cost more then what you can get out of other mp3 players.

Steer clear of the bose headphones. You can pick up the sennheiser cx300 for about 30-40 on e-bay and the cx500 for 60$ (marked down from 120). Both seem to have very good reivews, and i'm leaning towards the latter. Show nested quote +On October 21 2008 03:13 IzzyCraft wrote:On October 21 2008 00:06 decafchicken wrote:Next...Headphones. Looking for a flash player with probably 16gb for music and a few movies, good sound quality, good screen, and not ipod. So far my top choice is a cowon iaudio d2, still looking around though. Budget around <200 That's all Let me know any thoughts/recommendations on any of these Just buy a 16gig Creative zen X-FI its sound quality is the best decent screen etc. Also the headphones that come with it are just dam nice. It porb cost you about 220 250 after shipping. Meh i've heard the creative zen x-fi is rather mediocre esp for its price, and i dont need to pay for the headphones that it comes with ~~ Just so you know, there's a TON of counterfeit CX300s/500s on eBay. You can actually get them for around the same price on Amazon, but the quality is definitely lower than the V-modas. V-moda happily replaced mine when they died but if that's a serious issue, I'd recommend Shures for reliability. The Ultimate Ears buds I bought were probably the worst I've gotten. Quality was fun, but I hated the design and they broke within like two months.
iPods fucking suck. Sound quality, price, features, everything. Zune 80GB runs about $200 on Amazon and actually come with good, in-canal earbuds. Other than that I'd recommend a Creative or iRiver, but seriously the Zune is amazing.

I don't care for this line of thought. The V6 Mustang is no muscle car, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't drive it. An attractive car that's ~210hp and fun to drive is fine in my book regardless of how many auto enthusiasts want to be douches about it (especially if you can get it for under 20k or close to it) On October 21 2008 01:36 decafchicken wrote:But yea they took off the mustang so i got JEWED Not really necessary. It certainly would make sense to get it in v8, but I don't see why that means you shouldn't get it in v6... v6 mustangs are notoriously shitty and boring and the v8 only gets like 2 mpg less.
also dont be a pussy, get the 2010 focus hatch k thx
P.S. my mom's van has a 4.0l v6 and it makes 10hp less than the v6 mustang, only difference is my mom's van is from 1995 LOL!

Yea i heard there were a lot of counterfeits but amazon is a licensed retailer and have them pretty cheap so i'd probably get them from there. Sucks to hear they're worse than the vibes though, i've already had 3 vibes die on me (only one side of the headphones working)

Well, I can't speak for the 500s but I've got a pair of 300s for the gym. They're cheap plastic ear buds, you can't really expect that much.
My Vibes died after I abused them in the gym (hence the CX300s) but they replaced them pretty quickly.
BTW, these are the things you get with the Zune 80 (not the 120 though.)
http://gotzune.com/2007/11/zune-2-premium-earbud-mini-review
I don't like them as much as the Vibes and they're kind of annoying for the gym, but for regular listening they're definitely pretty good. Just remember to burn them in. I'm pretty sure 90% of the complaints for every type of earbud is because they weren't burned in first.

Get the Shure headphones over the Sennheiser, I've had my CX500's for about six months now and the right earphone seems to have blew up

Few people really enjoy wasting their hard-earned money, but many of us do it every day by buying new. We could do our pocketbooks, and the environment, a big favor by opting to be the second owner of some of the stuff we buy. Obviously, some things are best purchased new; lingerie pops to mind (see my companion piece, "10 things you should never buy used" for more). But lots of other stuff depreciates quickly while still having plenty of useable life left. Here are 10 items where the cost vs. use equation strongly tilts toward buying used. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ terrina Used Cars
