Don't be too adamant but make sure you express your position clearly. Don't force anything, just give them your view, keep ur cool?

Wear a casual suit and make sure your face is shaven and your hair nice. Shake his hand confidently so as to portray the fact that you arent fearing for your job, your just working some kinks out. Its all about your attitude man, if your boss thinks that you are totally confident in how you have been doing your job whether or not you are he will be much more likely to let you keep your job. Honestly from what I read in your last blog I don't think your getting fired though, probably just a reprimand.

Just be the opposite of what they described you to be. So don't use slang words, be nice, be mature, and don't swear. Or just make up a story that you're going through a rough patch in your life or something, that always softens them up a bit. But I don't think you'd get fired either, it doesn't seem to be that big a deal.
