Someone had to die... a true story

Last night my boss Chuck bought a new car 2008 BMW Z4. We work out of an apartment where I do mostly loan processing work. As the night came to a close, me and one of my co-workers, Bobby, were jabbing about who the better driver was and we eventually decided there was one way to find out. I knew Bobby a while, we had worked together for a few years and he was a pretty nice guy, talk is just talk after all.

Bobby wanted me to take his car out and show him how good of a driver I really was, never having driven with me. Chuck also hopped in so we drove a couple blocks to a McDonald's. While driving Bobby started acting like a complete idiot and covered my eyes and said "Let's see how good you can drive now." I didn't react well and ended up scraping against the guard rail, and he shouted "What the fuck did you do to my car man?" He told me to pull over and then grabbed me and flung my body to the curb. "Get in the fucking passenger seat" he shouted. He jumped up and sat in the driver seat.

His face suddenly turned from anger to a smug grin, and forced his foot against the gas pedal. Within a matter of seconds we were up to almost 70 miles per hour and driving into incoming traffic when he made a sharp turn right. The truck we were in rammed into the local Hair Cuttery. Glass was everywhere and Chuck lied still on the ground covered in blood and shards of glass. I could barely breathe and scrambled out of the truck, crawling into the closed building directly across the street. I peered out the window and saw Bobby coming towards me.

"What's a matter Sammy?" he said. He was holding a pair of scissors in his hands and made his way closer. I was very scared, I didn't want to die and why he was acting like this made no sense. I hid behind the door and waited for him to enter; the wait seemed like an eternity. He kicked open the door and walked in, and I immediately jumped on his back and used my arms to get a lock around his neck. Bobby was simply too big and strong for me, he took both his arms and hurled me off his body to the floor. He walked over and said "Goodbye Sammy." His arm lunged forward and I grabbed his wrist, and he forced the scissors closer to my face.

I knew it was all about to be over, so I had to try something quickly, so I arched my back and swung my right foot in his direction, hitting him square in the face. He stumbled to the floor, leaving a trail of saliva and blood. The scissors fell, but he was still moving.

I knew this was my last chance, I grabbed the scissors and plunged them straight into his heart, the heart of someone I considered a friend.

I'm not sure what happened next. Everything got dark all of a sudden and when I opened my eyes, all I could see was white. My hand was still extended in a stabbing motion, and I backed up my head. I was looking at a wall. It was all a dream I realized.. a stupid dream. But I learned something about myself that day, that I could kill if I had too, I wasn't the pussy I thought I was.
