lineups from the calender: Mobile Rival Battle - KTF MagicNs vs SK Telecom T1 - Proleague Style
Game 1: ZergBOy < Neo Requiem > Midas Game 2: Flash < Andromeda > Rumble Game 3: Violet < Colosseum > BeSt Game 4: 815 < Destination > s2 Game 5: SaiR < Medusa > GoRush Game 6: Tempest < Chupung-Ryeong > Hyuk Closer: < Return of the King >
doesn't this just break your heart? a KTF vs SKT1 rivalry battle without any of the iconic players from either side.
from ktf's side: yellow, reach, chojja, nal_ra, sync, themarine
from skt1: boxer, kingdom, iloveoov, rainbow

GoRush is the only old school player on the team if you don't count Midas.
So so sad.
These little kids don't measure up to the legendary lineup these teams could have fielded a few years ago and never will.

I mean 815 vs s2, Tempest vs Hyuk....
How the hell is anyone supposed to be excited over that? Such matchups don't belong in an event as grand as a KTF - SKT rival match.

At least day 2 starts with YellOw vs GoRush.
But s2. What the fuck? At least grace us with some Bisu.

i always associated gorush with suma go, since i believe all he really ever did after moving to skt1 is slump

Maybe we'll have a big closer?

I agree, while KTF might still be a strong contender with Flash, Lucifer, 815 and whatnot, the nostalgic value of the team has gone. With SKT1, at least we know the older players are still around - they just aren't getting screentime =(

this is going back before either of those periods, to the time when they used their old school giants and kicked ass with them
the only team that was a match for them was orion/4U/SKT1

And actually, Go was the most successful team league team (MBC and OGN) until the joint proleauge twas something like Go with 4 league wins (3 MBC teamleague iirc) and SKT/4u/Orion with 3 league wins yellow mentored the team a little too well i think

theres no denying tho that for once was a huge rivalry between KTF and SKT1, its sad that both teams are now having a show match series without the traditional big guns involved.
with regards to lucifer, i truly thought that he looked promising from his debut up until jaedong kicked him out of the arena msl. now though i'm not sure what to think of him.

To be fair, losing to Jaedong isn't really something to be ashamed of. I haven't seen too much of his play, but surely you can't say that he doesn't have potential because he lost to certainly one of the top 2 or 3 players at the moment.

It'd probably help if half of the players you mentioned hadn't moved to other teams (Reach) or retired to do other things (Kangmin, themarine etc.) I think they'll probably roll Bisu out as the ace. Still - the line up doesn't always reflect who turns up for these events anyway. I think it's going to be fun.
