Anyways I think it's pretty easy to gauge. If you went out with her for a month and got laid she wouldn't be inviting you down to sleep on the couch and go shopping with her. She just says that but you can work your "magic" if you have any! Just gauge the chances you sense any ass in this and work from there~

Then return home, get on TL asap and make a blog called "omfgomfg couch SEX!!." People will call you a douchebag but they are in fact just 220% jealous - don't worry.

1) They feel comfortable around people they consider peers. 2) Given that most of us are varying levels of nerd/geek, it makes sense to some people to see how similar people have dealt with similar situations. Reasoning being something like "If geek A can do it, perhaps so can I" 3) It feels less pathetic than going to a dedicated "love/relationship" forum. I'm sure it doesn't necessarily make them feel awesomely manly asking for girl advice on a Starcraft forum, but it's the lesser of the two evils for some.

You have 2 ways about going about this. You get off your cumstained couch and spend $80 dollars to go hang out with your girlfriend. Possibly getting laid (considering you're not some faggot) Or you can stay on your cumstained couch, and spend $80 dollars on your all night "snack run" so you can entice other people to stay on your cumstained couch. Enjoy your cumstained couch

1) They feel comfortable around people they consider peers. Don't they have friends "IRL?" 2) Given that most of us are varying levels of nerd/geek, it makes sense to some people to see how similar people have dealt with similar situations. Reasoning being something like "If geek A can do it, perhaps so can I" Except that it's more often, if I may use the term, theory crafting. Case and point: arb's post. I sincerely doubt most TLers have any luck with the crap advice they keep giving. 3) It feels less pathetic than going to a dedicated "love/relationship" forum. I'm sure it doesn't necessarily make them feel awesomely manly asking for girl advice on a Starcraft forum, but it's the lesser of the two evils for some. Again, don't they have friends? It seems far more effective to ask someone who knows you and that you trust for advice than random TLers... Hell, it doesn't even matter that it's a gaming forum, I wouldn't trust the advice of strangers anywhere. Well... I don't know. Maybe it's helped someone once before, but every time I see one of these threads I just sigh. Not even because I think I'm good, just because I think they're going about looking for solutions in the least likely places to find them.
