EPTSome of you may remember one of my previous blogs about naming my pet hamster. I had the pet for quite some time but I never really found a good name so I made a blog about it and one of the best suggestions was "Hamachi" and I went with that. LoL
So... since then my hamster has died in a somewhat interesting and rather surprising turn of events. I can explain a little more on that later if people really want to know. But back on topic:
Most hamsters, mine included, usually like to carry their food from wherever you put it for it to eat into several hiding places so that another animal doesn't come and steal it, or eat it when they're not looking. My hamster liked to take its food and store it right near it's water I guess to keep it all in one spot. Bonus points for organization skills if you ask me.
Well, after we removed the animal from the cage it was kept in I wasn't really in a rush to clean up the rest of it (remove the bedding from the cage etc) so I just kind of left it there, until today.
About 30min ago I decided it was time to free up some desk space and put the cage away in the garage until I decide I want to get a new one. On the way to the garbage in the kitchen I saw something amazing. The food that it had stored but didn't eat was actually watered by drops falling from the water bottle onto the sunflower seeds or whatever else hamsters eat.
After this happened enough a plant had started to grow. It is already fairly tall (maybe 2-4 inches). Here are a couple pictures of it for fun:

So these are my questions for TL
My two choices are
-Start a "garden" in what used to by my hamster cage.
-Just throw it away and move on.
If you think I should start a hamster cage garden, how would I go about it? My knowledge of gardening is pretty much limited to:
1. Plant seed
2. Water seed
3. ???
4. Profit
(i hope i did that right
