am i the only one or do other people also get pissed off when crappy beatboxers go on idol shows. no matter american idol, france, sweden or anything, it's fucking annoying because they suck at it - or else they would have been going to beatbox competitions instead.
they're just there to impress the jury that have probably never seen beatboxing before so are easily amazed. I mean shit he's not even singing or using much of his voice.
it would be like my friends watching me play starcraft and have never seen progamers play, think that i can easily get onto the national team for china or something, but in fact i know i'm fucking nothing compared to the pros.
if anything, this guy here should be raping idol shows. these next two vids should put all beatboxers going on idol to shame.
roxorloops and rahzel and the others are sick as, but this french guy is easily impressive enough for anyone not in the know. He rocks. The basic fact is that if some of the big names in beatboxing went on idol they would probably go quite far, I don't know why they haven't tried. Big money to be made!

Pps I've never seen a beatboxer that has anything like the musical understanding of a good drummer, most of the stuff seems to revolve around flash tricks. So don't get all high and mighty...it's just pyrotechnics, pyrogenetix. The french guy's beat was fun and sounded good.

yea but =/ they're not that good, just impressive to people not in the know and they know that, so they're just exploiting the situation.
oh well i'm just annoyed at people that go compete in another category where they seem really good because people don't know what the industry standard is like.
makes me lol when beatboxers or scat singers or whatever show up on idol shows. do they really think they're going to win a SINGING competition doing that? do they really think they're going to become a national superstar with platinum records by the barrelful by beatboxing?
