I'm not talking about a brood war opening lol...
So here's what happens. After practicing some tennis with my brother I randomly wanna get food from the grocery store, and I like spontaneously going to "target rich" areas lol, as I've been working on my "game" along with brood war of course!
So I suggest to my brother we get pop tarts, he doesn't want them, so we're going down the isle and I see girls that look around 16-20'ish, possibly college/hs, coming in the isle. Very cute.
They walk by, we walk by, and we stop at the ice cream in the same isle and my brother now is trying to convince me to get popsicles. I'm like, um fuck no...so then I get in "the zone" where I don't have any anxiety whatsoever and the girls come towards me.
"Hi, what ya think, popsicles or pop tarts?" I ask them, smile on my face, and the one girl responds with a smile, and she says, "popsicles definitely." I'm like, "ahhh fiinnee we'll go with popsicles."
The other things going through my head were "how old are these girls?" They were the type that looked really cute, fuckable, but looked very very young (I'm 20, jr in college), but they were there alone together, so they probably at least could drive, so 16-20 age range is what they could be...
anyways, on this one, I aborted and didn't continue the interaction just because they looked so young (I regret it, sigh, but I wasn't looking for much anyways, just to practice opening and saying fuck to approach anxiety) but as I was walking out of the store with my brother it dawned on me what the fuck just occurred!!!
I innocently opened and asked, "popsicles or pop tarts?" and the girl answered with a smile, "popsicles..." -> PUT THE fucking pieces together!!!
Next time, I'm not aborting that shit!!!

Well, I thought it a minor success, as I opened fine, I wasn't really going for much more than that, as they probably were too young for me. Could have done more, oh well!

Your first approach of the day is always the hardest one, after that despite if you did good or bad, the next one will be MUCH easier, i guarantee you. Its sorta like swimming, when you just jump in the pool you feel cold and uncomfortable, but if you get out afterwards, and then jump back in again, you'll be much more accustomed to it. It's similar.

This is just my personal opinion, but the best pick ups I've ever done were always ones where I had a natural opener.
-Noticed a girl that looks like a christian girl at the christianity section of chapters("hey you know whats funny? You totally look like the type of girl that would be in this section.")
-Noticed 2 girls reading what looked like a love letter("Hey, is that a love letter or something")
-On two occasions noticed funny writings on girls shirts("I love your shirt, what does it say?")
Every one of these openers are better than planned ones. Best thing to do is always be looking for cute girls and looking at their appearance or situation to find the best opener.

Normally, I'd 100% agree, but was a bit different scenario with these girls, so I'm sure it wasn't a DLV (just with these two girls, but in general you're right, also I didn't say it directly to the girls, more as an aside to meh brother that "fine, we'll get ur fucking popsicles") -.-
