Before this I really loved underground, but I came to like some of the Korean mainstream songs out there, although A LOT of them suck. If you know any good ones, share them!
I like Epik High, MC Mong, and Younha. I actually bought Epik High's Pieces Part One and Mong's Circus albums heheh. They're like 5 dollars cheaper over at Korea so I decided to buy them this summer when I went to visit my relatives.
I also think that 다비치's 사랑과 전쟁 is a catchy song but some of my friends and my sister think it's super annoying. 바람피지마~ haha

I like Big Bang as well, but at least they don't look like a typical boyband that look like a bunch of girls (Super Junior, Battle, etc). I also like how YG Entertainment is so influenced by America (Big Bang sporting the urban look).
I don't really listen to a lot of Korean music besides Big Bang, Epik High, an occasional song by the Wonder Girls or SNSD, but can I get an recommendations for any hip hop/R&B groups?

Most of the good groups are older, so try out listening to Drunken Tiger or Dynamic Duo, even Jinusean is ok too for your taste
1. Download Free Music Zilla. It downloads .flv files off of IMEEM, a music site. Then you can convert flv to mp3. IMEEM has ALMOST everything, so it's very reliable.
2. Or get Total Video Converter (forgot which version). Go to www.downloadyoutubevideos.com and insert a youtube video link. You will download a .flv file and you can convert that to .mp3 using TVC!
