Tuesday 10-5: Studio - "Experimenting with Game Interfaces" <- Same thing, but open studio, i.e you can choose to come in or not, tutors are there to help but there's not particular lesson plan Tuesday 12 - 3: Lecture/Lecture/Tute - "Religious Studies 1001 - Paths To Enlightenment" First Monday was literally playing Wii games for half a day on these massive projections. Good fun. | ||

It's USYD, Bachelor of Design Computing. That said, I wouldn't recommend this as a course if you wanted to get into games design. It's more graphic design and web oriented, though the course I'm doing atm is them trying to change their focus to Human-Computer Interaction. You'd be much better going to the few colleges in Australia that offer game design/related courses, there are a few in Melbourne, 1 in canberra and 1 in Brisbane iirc. Apparently QANTM opened a college in Sydney too now (They used to be in Brisbane, I was originally gonna go there after my HSC, but decided to stay in Sydney instead thinking that my course would be as useful. Which it isn't, but I regret nothing as I found out there was something I enjoyed more). All that said, from what I gathered when I was still actively trying to pursue a career in the industry, your portfolio is of equal or greater importance to your degree/tertiary education level. | ||
