So I drive back to school and I set up my laptop and get ready for some web surfing when I suddenly notice, my "control" button disappeared. Apparently it broke off from too much usage or something and disappeared during the trip.

Immediate problems become:
1) Copy and pasting things
2) Hotkeying units/buildings in Starcraft
3) Minor habit things like opening new tabs in Firefox, etc

#1 and #3 are probably not big problems, but how the hell am I supposed to play Starcraft now? Is there even a way to hotkey things without the control button? O_o

People told me to use the other control button, however my computer only has 1 (O_o? I know).

The Windows button is on the top right of my keyboard >_<

All I have next to control is Alt >_<

I'd try to get it replaced/fixed rather than use another button as a workaround, but I guess that would be a temporary fix...

just musing about the fact that i'm probaby the only one who thought, when i clicked the thread, that i was going to see a thread about "life without a cock". good luck with your control button. i'd suggest getting a USB keyboard.

Step 1: Pop out useless windows key or right control key
Step 2: Put it in old control key spot
Step 3: Adapt to potentially smaller key
Step 4: Get really frustrated
Step 5: Ebay a new keyboard

(Edit: in case you're wondering I'm speaking from experience)
