They're my favorite a cappella group of all time. I've been listening to them for about 7 years now. Unfortunately, they don't get much attention in foreign countries because they're not young and cute like every other music group in Japan these days.

But the real reason I made this topic is to request a translation for Aoi Tori. Here are the lyrics:
Well, to me, it's not about being calm, it's about when voices come together and make a good harmony. That, to me, is pretty fucking awesome. Then again, I was in an a cappella group when I was younger, so I'm naturally going to be more inclined to like music like this.
I dont know this song in particular but these guys are awesome.
You know a singer's good when they're better live on music shows than their records. I like the dude in shades more than the lead singer haha.
I remember back in 2000/2001, when I was completely distraught with the Japanese music scene with the massive influx of MM clones and shitty rap and I decided to email a friend of mine who had oldschool taste much like mine (Anzen Chitai + Kome Kome Club + Inoue Yosui + Tulip as a guy born in 1985 is wtf), and the three songs he gave me were
Gospellers - Towa Ni Chemistry - Pieces of a Dream Hirai Ken - Rakuen
Great songs till this day. And Japanese music still blows overall after 7-8 years.
That's such an awesome song. The Gospellers, Kome Kome Club, and Thee Michelle Gun Elephant are easily some of my favorite acts of all time (and not only strictly speaking for Japan)

Oh, and I thought the guy in glasses (Murakami Tetsuya) was the lead the singer? Hmm. If it's not him, then I guess it would Kurosawa Kaoru? Or maybe Yasuoka Yutaka since he's the one who writes most of their lyrics.
