Pikachu is inherently fast and theres a 50%(?) chance that the Teleport will get denied. Come to think of it, the Pikachu option is probably easier. | ||

but back in the day i used to play blue/red/yellow on a PC emulator, and from what i remember, catching abra is no problem at all.. the difficult ones to catch were the legendy birds [zapdos, moltres and.. err.. the icy one :p] mewtwo wasn't difficult because i just threw the special ball at him at full HP and it's 100% catch [u get the special ball from prof oak at some point in the game, i cant remember really when.. but i obviously used on on mewtwo as he's the strongest one..] | ||
