Masami and I were in a middle school doing some service project thing for high school (we did it for a month).
One day, this random 5th grader came up to us (there were three of us. me, masami, and some other friend).
But what's weird is that he asked ME and Masami and not the other kid if we played SC. Also it was so random that I said, "what?" at first then told him that I do, and I was amazing at the game. Masami also said yes but why did he ask us two? It just felt weird. We asked if he was good but he said that he was learning the strategy off the strategy book by Blizzard that was included in the battle chest.
But anyways we laughed when we saw the kid.
Why did we laugh at the kid?
he looked like:
Testie. So we were about to ask him if he was related to someone named Nick that played SC but we didnt ;P since it wasn't possible.
Anyways, I think he will be one of the best foreigners to come. Starting at a pretty young age, he's on his way up there! YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST!

LOOOOOL OMG, THREAD OF THE MONTH. He looks EXACTLY like him
We may have Canada's future in SC2 secured rofl
EDIT: lol..... i keep coming back to this thread - looking at the picture, laughing my ass off.

I PLAY FOR THE JOY OF THE GAME SON, NOT FOR MATERIAL GAIN. NO JOY, NO GAME. LOG IN, NO GAMES LOG IN ICCUP, SOME ODD GAMES BUT IN FUCKING SILENCE WITH A PITIFUL /F LIST THAT'S NOT EVEN HALF OF WHAT THE 100 YOU CAN STACK ON UR DOTA /F LIST.
WHAT'S YOUR ANSWER TO THAT EH?! GO LOG ON AND FEEL THE DEATH. OR YOU CAN "PUB".
If it were active TL.net would have an active channel with 40 people in it round the clock. It doesn't.

So you were in middle school doing work for high school and a 5th grader came out of nowhere? How did that happen? You've known Testie since your middle school days?

Yeah, he came out of nowhere :O I have no idea how, but wow, it was sooooo random. What makes it more weird is that me/masami are sc players

Sometimes... I wonder how these threads get bumped... I mean, did the person use google, or search function? I know I only use search function when I'm looking for something specific, and just want information, not in particular to comment... But these people have 100 posts... surely they didn't just google it and randomly decide to be newbies?
It's a paradox I think I will never understand. Long live the 'lol' bumps.

It's a paradox I think I will never understand. Long live the 'lol' bumps. This one is because of the Testie Bday thread. PARADOX SOLVED!

I find it funny how Testie doesn't just admit that HE personally lost interest/motivation, but instead is trying to logically debate that Starcraft has a series of flaws (which didn't seem to bother him the first 8 years or so) and that it is a dying game. Starcraft is alive and kicking, it's certainly more complex than dota, and it's as fun as ever for the general population + the skill level really wasn't so high ever before.
If mr. Nick doesn't like that that's his choice, but I believe he's just being (well, was since this is 6 months old) silly.
