I have heard a lot of good things about this game, never played it though :\ .
If you want best story and fun gameplay, Legend of Zelda: Orcarina of Time. I don't know what it is about that game, it's just, seriously, I cannot find words to explain the story. If you have not played this game, PLAY IT NOW. It is available for emulators, wii virtual console, a gamecube version, and the good old n64. Seriously though, this games story line is just so... you gotta play it to understand.

Save the princess... Just like almost every Zelda and Mario game ever invented haha. I give the game big points for having excellent music, but as far as plot goes.. no surprises, just a fun RP experience

Baldur's Gate has a much better storyline and is closer to 2e D&D than is its successor.

This is maybe the only game that made me feel bad for killing people, and the music is sooooooooooooo good.
And lol @ Diablo 2 in the op.
Yes the music is amazing, I listen to it quite often. PM me if you dont have the Mp3's Ill send them to you..
Fun Fact: I went a little crazy listening to the UNATCO song for like 18 hours a day for a couple weeks while working out/training hardcore to join the navy (I wanted the song in my head during bootcamp (yes im wierd)), well I ended up deciding against the Navy, but boy.. that was an expereince lol
EDIT: did you kill scott? ^^; I couldnt hurt the poor boy myself, we were good buddys back in the day ya know? ;p

Lol you a weirdo xD. I dont remember all the details of the game even if i cimpleted it again last year in realistic mode. Scott is a guy that you can save in a mission and who then tell to some of his friends in the military to let you enter the base in Brooklyn where the tanker with ambrosia is , right ?

Hehe looks interesting especially for people who want to try the game for the first time. But graphics arent a problem for me. I like the oldschool skins of the Unreal engine .
I seriously hope that Deus Ex 3 wont be garbage. Less linear + more dialogs / side quests / larger maps + good story please ! . ( i didnt play Dx 2 because many people told me that it sucked ).
Scott was the gaurd posted behind the desk right before you enter the main UNATCO facility (the eye scanner door). On your second final trip through UNATCO he starts firing at you, and many people from the game community say they couldnt kill him they felt too bad, so I have to ask this everytime I find a fan hehe..
Deus Ex 2. Well yeah, it was a huge disapointment and I hate the way Harvey Smith butchered it. But I would recomend you play through it, just for continuity of story if anything else. But honestly it was a pretty decent shooter with an above average story and some pretty fun gameplay at times. At times it really does have that Deus Ex atmosphere.. The thing is when you compare it to the original it becomes bad =/. Honestly it is better then most shooters even if I despise it, If that makes sense..

Oh i probably killed him. I completed the game twice, two times with a tank/ riffle+ gun specialist so i killed a lot of people each time ( and i disliked a lot Unatco dudes ) ^^.
