im so pissed off. i cant believe mexico is so shitty. It was 21:30 and i was waittng for the bus. It didnt stop, it just went right through ignoring me. Right after, a bycicle man goes near me and pulls off a gun, and whispers me not to look anywhere, and that i should give him all i had.
luckly before i left home i had a hidden $20. He only robbed me like $3 and my cellphone. Two police cars went right infront of us but none did nothing. I couldnt go back home because the stupid fuck was lurking around. When i grabbed a cab and called the police, they told me that they couldnt do shit because i was no longer in the crime scene, and i had to sue this fucktard.
how incompetent. I would have defended myself but when i saw the gun i just thought that it could go worse. I hate such opportunist,i hope karma deals with him.

I live in Toronto and used to live in a area called Jane & Finch and once got robbed @ 6pm on Sunday. This black guy came up to me with a gun and made me go to a ATM and stuff. When your bring robbed and they have a gun you just don't think but later on you think 'I could've yelled/run/locked myself in the atm [bank was closed and atm behind glass door and he wouldn't come in cause of camera]...anyways the point is that you don't think about this and just seeing a real gun freaks you out. Anyways, now I know what to do in the future.

I got worse experience than yours man. I went out 3am to eat Mcdonalds then like 6 drunk tards wrestled me and then when i was lying in the ground 2 fucking knives were pointed at me. Then they took all I have, like an IPOD my phone and money.

You did right, i wouldn't risk my fucking life for 3 bucks and a cellphone if I were you.
But to think about it, it's pretty shitty since you can't really prevent this from happening again. So don't carry too much cash and accept it as a daily fact.

I'm sad to hear that but I don't understand how can you judge a whole country just because you were robbed.
I've lived 8 years in Mexico and never have I had any incident. In these three years I've been living in spain I've been robbed twice.
But that doesn't mean Spain sucks, come on.

well actually i can becaue it was not an isolated incident. Tons of people get robbed and they cant do shit about it because if you report it to the police they simply do nothing about it. I had been lucky because i had not been robbed... yet.

He saw someone affluent looking (whether that means race, or the clothes he was wearing), and was hoping to maybe hit the jackpot. Anyone who owns a cell phone has carried 100 dollars with them in cash at least once in their life.
Honestly though, just avoid sketchy places There's a reason all of rich Mexico has armed guards.
