On behalf of the Minister of National Defence and the Chief of the Defence Staff, it is my pleasure to congratulate you on being selected for enrolment into the Regular Officer Training Plan. This is the beginning of an exciting, challenging and rewarding career as a future leader in the Canadian Forces. Your offer is conditional pending successful completion of your current academic year, maintaining your current medical standard, (successful completion of aircrew selection (if required for your program) and having no changes in legal commitments.
Under the terms of the plan, you will be subsidized for Four years at the Royal Military College Saint Jean to obtain a Bachelor of Engineering degree. You will be enrolled in the occupational grouping of Air Engineering . Your exact military occupation will be confirmed before the commencement of your second year of university subsidization. Upon completion of your degree, you will receive your commission and commence full time employment as an officer in the Canadian Forces.
The details for the completion of your enrolment paperwork and the swearing in ceremony will be provided once they are confirmed by the Recruiting Centre. As this ceremony signifies the start of your military career, you may wish to invite your relatives and friends to attend. Dress for the enrolment is jacket and tie for gentlemen and appropriate business equivalent for ladies. Photographs and video taping of the ceremony is encouraged. After your date of enrolment, CFRC Vancouver will be providing you specific information regarding your reporting date, location and contact information.

A letter I got a month ago that I've been meaning to post. I was accepted into the Royal Military College of Canada!
In essence, I get a monthly salary and a fully subsidized education. Wee~
