In starcraft I am always complaining that I'm playing half-assed because I don't practice enough. I'm stuck between an addiction and a frustration. I know I'm not the only person to have this predicament as life becomes more consuming of time, energy, etc. But when sc2 comes out, in effect, the pressure will be relieved. I won't have to worry about constantly making blunders that will frustrate me for hours in a game that I'm fairly noob at (at least I hope). Learning to play sc1 from the basics wasn't that frustrating.
I'm sure the competition in sc2 will kick off right away, but I don't need to be on the forefront of that to be satisfied. I merely need a new outlet that will satisfy me. If Blizzard manages to pull it off, I will be very pleased.
