You can never be "just friends" with her. In fact, I don't believe that any heterosexual male is ever "just friends" with a female. It's in our nature to want to have sex with them. Deeeep inside I think everyone knows this

Anyways the reason why she is "only friends" is because that you are too nice; and you didn't want to act like that you wanted to go for a relationship when you first met. Once you're in the friendship zone is hard to get out to relationship imo... BTW: I think that you can talk your parents out of their thinking of "No dating in high school" I know some asian parents are really strict about their child's studies, hell my parents wouldn't let me even play SC during weekends. What made them suprised is that my neighbor who had a relationship, and still managed to get full on ACT really suprised my parents... I dunno maybe you can try and provide some samples that getting a relationship don't affect your studies. Like maybe "secretly"(tho i don't know how its possilbe) date for a few weeks. Then see if your grades are changed, if not tell your parents that you had a relationship for the past few weeks and your grades wasn't affected.. :/

I'll write you some advice later if I have the time letsbefree, but basically, yes, you have a chance at her. If you want her, go get her tiger.

You can make her vulnerable by making her laugh ... I dunno about you but i think people will generally agree and are more out going when they are laughing oO.

It all started when I met this girl, Christina. I have two classes with her right now, in grade 11. And slowly we became really good friends. However, she had a boyfriend not long ago and when they broke up she was devastated. I did my best to comfort her and now she seems pretty much ok. I stopped reading right there. Ok, no I didn't, but I already knew what I was going to say at that point!Sorry. GODDAMNIT GUYS, stop with the stereotypical oversimplistic advice everyone on the internet seems to believe. It's doable, but 99% of the time I believe it involves disappearing from their life and "reinventing" yourself, at which point you might as well just find someone new unless they're REALLY special. Best way to forget about her while still being her friend is to be with someone else.

there are a million of her, and only one of you. her loss she doesn't want to be with a cool starcraft loving guy as yourself. so move onto new prospects (better ones). if she sees you with other girls she might change her mind about you. or.... have her be your friend, then get her to hook you up with her friends. shell talk you up etc and its easy at that point. just remember if all you are is friendly and nice, then why would she expect something else from you? you must make it clear your intentions. do this by touching (start small), and escalate till shes dying to stick her tongue down your throat.

And now, i dunno what to do. I really really like her, and I don't want to forget about her. But from the way she talked, it seemed like it's the only solution. In my own opinion, I've decided to continue to be there for her as a friend, and I will always be opened to her whenever she feels that we are both ready. I really don't know if this is the best choice guys >_<, hope you can help me out here... you can just keep crushing on her till the summer when you forget about her, or she gets a bf, etc etc. "decided to be there as her friend" im interpreting as you think you still have a chance and are going to be her tool. And she will never feel you're both ready. unless she's very drunk and very vulnerable p.s. her ex bf sounds like a giant tool.

Of course it involves reinventing yourself, but for one thing that's not as hard as you make it out to be and for another, are you really trying to tell someone who's in love (yes, I'm assuming he's really in love, I don't like spitting on others' feelings) to just drop the girl and forget about her?
