Is slog known? Or did you just beat a random guy on USEast and then make a post about it? I'm confused.

i remember watching the replay of slog4 vs iloveoov, in which slog4 gets owned so hard lol
anyway, last time i asked him about the replay, he claimed that he could now beat iloveoov ez. lol he sucks now i guess, but he seems to have a lot of progamer friends.

uhh he doesnt really play much anymore, he used to be pretty good

beating him now doesnt really mean much, and it was most likely someone on his account or he was drunk because he doesnt play random people, just good friends =/

slog4 used to be pretty good, nothing absolutely amazing in my opinion but he had his moments. Currently he dabbles and plays a few games with all races.. so beating him and posting it publicly is pretty pointless.

Back when he played he was a pure protoss (afaik) and had a very nice pvt.

This kind of annoys me. I don't know what your intentions were with this post, but here's a little rant:

In the world of fighting games, if you beat someone in casuals, it doesn't mean a thing. It has to be a tournament game to have credit behind it.

The same should be applied to StarCraft. I know I personally fuck around in most of my casual games, so I'm sure people better than me do the the same. I would never tell someone "I wasn't trying", but honestly, a lot of times I'm not trying, or I have my legs up, or I'm having a conversation with someone else, or I'm trying a new build, etc. So if you beat someone in a casual match, that means pretty much nothing.

If you beat them in a showmatch, or a tournament, or a league game, then that has a lot more meaning behind it. Of course they still might not care, because often there is nothing on the line for winning except a little bit of pride (whereas in most fighting game tournaments there is money on the line).

So yea, if you beat Slog4 in USEast, whoopie! If you beat him in the WGT 16-man finals tournament, then you can talk. If you beat him in WCG USA qualifiers, then you can talk more.

Oh yea I think he's pretty good. Second tier USA player I think.

Uhh not really. Someone I played with told me that Slog was one of the best P in the east so I was sort of confused.

Why are you making assumptions? People like you will ALWAYS continue to piss me off.

P.S: Guys sorry for making this post..I was really just curious, that's all :/
