The euro, worth 83 cents in the early George W. Bush years, is at $1.45. The British pound is back up over $2, the highest level since the Carter era. The Canadian dollar, which used to be worth 65 cents, is worth more than the U.S. dollar for the first time in half a century. Oil is over $90 a barrel. Gold, down to $260 an ounce not so long ago, has hit $800. Have gold, silver, oil, the euro, the pound and the Canadian dollar all suddenly soared in value in just a few years? Nope. The dollar has plummeted in value, more so in Bush's term than during any comparable period of U.S. history. Indeed, Bush is presiding over a worldwide abandonment of the American dollar. It goes on to explain why. Time to sell our gold folks! Buy low sell high. edit: I see the author of the article you linked is Pat Buchanan. This might change the context for some ![]()

No matter who says it, IT IS HAPPENING, doesn't take a genius to figure that out.

They might care about the content of the link, but they don't care about you or that you're crying. The only person who will get something out of this post is someone who was wandering around TL.net blogs and realized he'd rather be reading an article about politics/economics. If you gave something to discuss aside from "T.T" then it might have some significance here. There's a huge difference between a blog/forum site and a site just for posting links. There is supposed to be discussion here. You can post a link with discussion. Just posting a link is stupid. Posting a link with a crying face is worse (and emo to boot). The fact that you don't even try to defend the position I'm attacking is rather telling about its (lack of) defensibility. And what the fuck is that phrase anyway? If you're trying to be the next Shakespeare, it's not working. The only match google mustered was this and it's gramatically different so it doesn't count. Nonetheless, I'm starting to get a feel for the kind of person that uses 'blood' and 'pussy' in the same sentence.

In any case, I think it is only fair justice that the biggest bully in the world is slowly and unavoidably falling to its knees.

US voted bush for a 2nd term because the democrats didn't have a strong leader. so bush was sadly to say, the better choice. and the whole history of USA being the "bully" of the world was because of post wwii and europe...its not America's fault america was vaulted into that position.
