I've been reading LiquiScoop archives today, and, well, I must say TL.net rocks. It's the best forum and the best community I've been a part of and I've been a part of many. Dunno, it's the place where I don't feel alone, there's such a load of talented, humorous and smart people here. Kinda proves StarCraft is something more than a computer game. It provokes thought, develops discipline and even ethics. Seriously, in no other game it's a rule to wish good luck to your enemy at the start, in no other game it's a rule to accept defeat with a mandatory approval of your enemy's skill. It is so hard sometimes. But such is the nature of the game that has brought us all together. We are people who have a desire to learn, we are all perfectionists in a sense, because nothing other than perfection is required to play a good StarCraft. Naturally, prefectionism carries over in our lives. TL.net community is full of that special breed of people that are pushing the limits forward, whatever the subject is. So I'm reading liquiscoop and I'm happy.
No doubt, I will abandon StarCraft soon. My university days are almost over, I'm applying for a job, my gf wants us to marry, and my free time will very soon get almost non-existent. StarCraft will remain in the past, but there's no way I'm ever gonna regret the countless hours spent playing it, and a large part of that is teamliquid.
You are great guys. No matter how bitter and emotional I might sound in some of my posts, I love this place.

Good to hear your life's coming along so well.
I beg to differ though, it is a habit at least in the european scene that you wish eachother luck before Counterstrike matches. I agree on the rest though, this community is special.

In my opinion, Team Liquid > Starcraft. I play the game sure, but I spend most of my spare time reading these damn forums, and waiting for a new topic to suffice.

I haven't played a single game of starcraft in 3 weeks but I don't think there's been a single day I don't visit the site.

Your gf wants you to marry, but do YOU? You didn't seem to mention it.

Well, you're interested in StarCraft in the first place. That seems enough. You also have a gozilla-caliber post count which effectively makes you a part of this site, somewhat like the horse logo.

Do you realize how fucking sick it is that I can goto TLPD and watch any game pretty much ever instantly?
I still can't get over this. I never watch pro games but now if I have 20 or 30 minutes to kill I always go and watch random games. The ratio of work put in to praise given is ridiculous.
