Little anecdote involving an onion ring

I best write this down before I forget it, for it was so minor but gave me a nice smile. Today I played football with my mates and that 4 hours of running was followed naturally by a trip to the pub for drinks and food. I ordered a steak with onion rings. Except "onion rings" was a huge elaboration, all I got was a single ring-shaped batter, with no onion to be found. I was gonna complain but it was so petty. Still felt pretty cheated, I do like my onion rings... After that I headed home, as one does. During the walk back on an empty street I saw a glistening round object on the pavement, lit up by the streetlight. It was a single slice of onion...

One can take this in an amusing way or a horrific way.

It would be amusing to think that onion slice you found on the street is "cute", BUT! What if you keep running into onions, each time, with the slice marks reshaping into a menacing grimace? Eventually, the onion encounter will grow eerier, with the feeling of paranoia creeping along the back of your mind. Soon, the onion will grow strange parts resembling that of an onion monster and you'll begin feeling insanity overwhelm you in pitch-white oblivion that is an onion field.

ZOMFG, WHAT'S THAT BIG FREAKIN ONION DOING BEHIND YOU?! LOOK!

This is just proof that there is an onion ring balance in the world. An onion ring cannot be taken out of the system without a new onion ring appearing in the system.

oh, guess what, I won the pub poker match that we played haha. hustled them all :D muahaha.

oh. and if u want onion rings we should go down to tony roma's one time. they have this onion ring thing that looks like a tower made up of onion rings. tis awesome.
