It's been quite a bit of time since I last wrote. How have you guys been? Anyways, I might potentially get into livestreaming on Twitch. Part of it is me wanting something to do with my newfound free time, and part of it is me wanting to finally have a use for a capture card that I got for my birthday a few weeks ago. Fellow streamers on TL - do you guys have any advice? I might just go with no mic/cam streams for the time being.   | ||

I personally streamed for years with no cam / mic because I simply had a hard time focusing on the game (BW / SC2) while interacting with viewers at the same time. Although, you always have the option to interact / entertain the viewers after the games as well. If you are aiming to become a popular streamer and make revenue doing it, then I would say it is mandatory to stream with MIC / Cam and interact with the viewers at the same time, etc. Otherwise, unless you are a top pro gamer of a certain game or famous, I don't see how you could make a reasonable amount of revenue. It all depends on what you want to stream and why you want to stream it, what your purpose as a streamer will be. | ||

I'm obviously not a professional gamer (if anything I consider myself pretty introverted and not the best at video games), and I have no intention of becoming a full-time streamer or anything like that.
