Hello peepz

Just made a new song and I'm quite happy how it came out, and I'm usually my harshest critic.

It's something completly different than what I use to do and it worked out alright!
First time in about a year that I was inspired enough to actually finish a song.
Anyway, I don't know what genre this is, i just slapped some beat together.

I guess it's a bit future garage/wave/trap inspired with some trancey elements to it.

I don't have many listeners so I don't know if this is something people would listen to,
So let me know what you think (if you listen to this kind of music),

Of course music is highly subjective, but non the less, I'm curious about opinions. (Is this something you would queue up in Spotify e.g ?)

Good job on getting it done! Listened to it, I thought the the strongest part was at 1:25 -> 1:40 ish with the new melody that stands out from the rest of the song. Felt that the drum pattern could have a little more flow to it. And that there were too many melodies at the same time that were doing the same kind of thing.

Here's to many more songs!

I've cleaned up the mix a lot, so it should not be so messy with to much going on, as well as reworked the kick drum pattern slightly in the second half of the song.

Feel free to check out the updated version, same adress as before.
Leaving it as it is now! I'm done.

And thank you a lot for the feedback! Helped me to refine the edge a bit

Really really good!

I am far from an EDM expert so I couldn't tell you what I specifically like about it, I just find myself either bobbing my head to something or not, and I definitely did here.

I really like the syncopation of the rhythm and the main melody (from 1:25) sounds really good, as well as the extra melodic bits after 2:20. Might I suggest you double-down on the main melody when it comes in at 1:25 and bring that to the front of the mix.

It seems your levels between the drums and the rest of what you add could be better balanced, especially the highs of the snare (blur with the highs of the melody). your midrange has a quite a lot of stuff (e.g. background synths) just layered and layered, which could do with a bit of prioritizing of the main melody.

But overall it's quite fun and enjoyable, good work!

not really my style of edm but very well produced and good ideas, nice job.
possibly the main pad/backing synth running through it is too loud, maybe reduce slightly and allow the drums more breathing room.

The track is released on spotify now, and they kinda limited the shit out of it. so it sounds a bit more decent (more sounds coming through now).
