Game 1: I played a PvP and I saw the computer massed zealots and I made 4 zealots and rest dragoons. The reason I did this was I needed to practice micro After I stopped his wave, I waited to max out and finished it off by the 15th minute. My APM was 254 so I was surprised but probably because of all the hotkey I used for units (Which I barely did, but for some reason I did it because thats the point of excercise
Game 2: I played PvT and the computer went m&m -_- so I stopped first wave, and smae thing happened as game 1: i waited it out and won at 19th minute because the computer was smart enough to expand apm i got was 245.
i don't know if playing like this would work against a human =/ but i can tell you that my macro in both games were so much better than i would usually play. it didnt break 1000 at all (like i did sometimes during pub). the highest it went to was maybe like 700-800 ish but other than that it was at a very low level.
and i wonder if my hotkeys are ok. i have had the habit of making 1 and 2 my nexuses. 3-7 would be mainly for my units. f2 is for my 3rd expansion, f3 is for the location of rally of units, and f4 is the location of where most gateways are. is that a bad way of playing? i feel if i changed 1-4 for units then i feel uncomfortable>.<
