i thought most people usually make mf sorcs when they first start out (if they plan on playing for a while) because i think sorcs are the least item dependent. barbs are kind expensive to get decent gear for and super expensive to get good gear for. once they get the ownage equipment though, they're more for PvP than anything else. making a barb as a first character is probably a very bad idea especially on a reset where you can't get any good stuff at all and you'll get very frustrated when you do no damage and get owned by everything.

a barb with really good equipment is really good though. but without the best stuff, you'll have to put extra attributes into str and dex to wear crap. and it's just not good to start out with. but once you get like 15-20 ists, you can make a barb. it takes like 5 hours to get to 70 with rushes and runs and stuff and then you can afford a super barb.

Sorceress, closely followed by the Amazon. Nothing is more fun to kill 60 cows in 3 seconds with Lightning Fury

Boners are easily the funnest (if you are rich already). Other than that, ele druids are just as fun when you are mad rich

And yeah, you might want to start off with a blizz sorc as soon as the ladder resets, because you wont have nigma yet and you cant really MF without tele ;;

sorceress is the best.
My favorite build ever was the orb sorc with thunder storm. That was when there were no synergies.

Sorc favorite order: Orb, Fire, Blizzard, Lightning.

playing sorc for sure, need to mf in normal difficulty collecting Sigon set and i'll be good to start with any other char. but indeed i'll mf nightmare mephisto and collect some goodies first.

this time i definitely will not use maphack, or d2loader or whatsoever, last time i used d2loader to play in windows mode i got banned (was my 2nd offense).

ha, i must be the only one who voted Druid! i totally accept that he sucks, like his transformations are crap slow at melee attacking and his sidekicks suck compared to the Necromancer's, and don't even get me started on how pathetic the execution and effectiveness of his elemental spells are. however, there's just something about his bad-ass demeanor when you choose him in character selection and the witty quotes he makes as he walks down each level that makes him the coolest
