EPTAs I write this, the total number of videos uploaded is 5,344, playlists 695 and the biggest collection of player videos is TaeJa at 93 (talk about that TL bias, huh?). Over 1TB of videos for WCS 2014 EU S2 and MLG 2011 Providence are currently processed and ready to upload (about 200 videos).
Happy 4th birthday to SC2POVs!. It's been a busy 2018 with a lot of work being done trying to preserve the good (or bad depending on who you ask) 'ol days of StarCraft 2.
I'm going to take a few moments to regale the most prominent parts in my memory:

1). Scarlett winning PyeongChang helped raise video and channel views considerably.
2). New recording/render PC hardware, increasing performance when recording and rendering videos; from an FX6300 / 1333Mhz DDR3 / GTX 580 1.5GB to a Xeon E3-1245v3 / 1600Mhz / GTX 580 3GB. This meant being able to render 3 videos at once in parallel when previously it was possible for just one at a time.
On my main PC, video recording ramped up but rendering was a slow affair. Coupled with Sony Vegas 14 and Vegasaur for automating rendering, these vastly increased the amount of videos being produced. This led to a massive lack of storage as recording and rendering was then dependent on the relatively slow process of uploading to YouTube to free up space, so more disk space was required. With the addition of a "staging" and "archival" disk, at 3TBs and 6TBs respectively for each machine, resolved the issue.

3). Since 2015 the vast majority of my work on Liquipedia has been (by my own admission and opinion) solely to selfishly promote the content of SC2POVs and to gain precious diamond coins for a much coveted TL jersey.
With this in mind, I took up swampflare's offer of helping the Smash Liquipedia volunteers with a number of things, and this vastly improved my knowledge and experience; spazer's level of attention to detail was something I very much admired, and now in hindsight appreciate. I also have to add that they were very patient with all my queries and questions.
4). A very nice Reddit post was made about the channel, and there was a glut of around 70 subscribers in two days.
5). After much deliberation on my part as to how to build and display the information, I asked for consideration of a Liquipedia page for SC2POVs, and this was approved and achieved thanks in no small part to CynicalDeath who put up with a lot of requests for feedback, advice and "have you done it yet?" messages whilst busy with things of far greater import. Thank you Gio, you are the SC2 piddy's "backpack". It's also a privilege to be considered notable enough to be on Liquipedia and I am very grateful
.The liquipedia page has for me been a great resource as a central repository of playlists as YouTube lacks much in regards to playlist management and has been a real boon for my work in general.
6). After creating the SC2POVs Liquipedia page I've tried to become more active in SC2 wiki work when time and real life have allowed: updating player results in tournament pages, doing some light live report work and adding map pages. It's been a very fun, and honestly engrossing experience that counter balances the dreary drudgery of my day job.
Finally, I'd just like to give a big shout out to the wonderful staff and volunteers of Liquipedia who I've been able to get to know over the short time I've been in their Discord server; the camaraderie and level of professionalism in what you do and how you do it is, quite frankly, astounding, and the high level of detail put into the much beloved Piddy is mind blowing, and the envy of the esports scene.
