Let us not worry about the future, let us not worry about the ice age, let us not worry about the extinction of life in the oceans, leading to the end of life on earth. Let us not worry about the deforestation, the CO2, leading to the end of air for our lungs, accompanied with a lack of water.
Food, air, water.
The trinity is ending, let us not worry… or shall we?
The water is rising up, the population is not stopping, the end of the world is likely upon us. Are we going to save the human race, or should I rather say “Who amongst us is going to survive?”. This question has been on my mind for some days now and as a European I think I’ll be the third fifth to go, maybe a bit earlier than that, but not by much.
But for now I have a dream, I shall try and build my future and I will know if I can take my first step down that route in the upcoming days. Lots of things are uncertain, political climate, economic questions, questions about the health of my parents, professional competency… But, for once, I’m a bit more confident about the whole operation, I feel like this project – the biggest of my life so far- could really take shape.
I still have doubts, I’m sensing that there will be bumps in the road, and more importantly, a major inconvenience. But I want to explore this opportunity, I want to try and live a normal life.
I’m just expecting the illusion to wade off. I’m just waiting for the delusion to stop, for the show on stage to vanish in front of my eyes, as the curtains fall back on it, and my eyelids open.
Man makes plans and God laughs.
