Just wanted to give an update on how things are going in the Madden scene. (I Know most of you dont care about Madden, but we're all part of the gaming/E-sports community).
Anyway...I have been speaking out on the slider manipulation/match fixing going on in my E-Sport. Apparently EA is trying to shut me up, but I will not be silenced.
I received a call from them yesterday saying I have been suspended indefinitely from the Madden Championship Series. I had a discussion with them, and they claimed I had made 'Conduct Violations'. I asked them to clarify, and they said: "Some other players do not feel comfortable with you at the tournaments."
I told them, of course my competition doesn't want me at the tournaments. These little puppets that EA promotes as the faces of our E-Sport know I'm better than them, and never want to see me in another tournament because they know I will embarrass them. (One time I made young_kiv cry and run off the stage like a little baby.)
When I told them that, they said ok...well our employees don't feel comfortable with you because you don't act like the other players.
Yeah, Im different dude...and my morals are not for sale for any amount of money. Sorry, I will never be for sale.
We had a conversation, and cleared some things up. I told them basically they have 2 options at this point:
A. Everything can be water under the bridge for me personally (I am not a law enforcement officer, or a legal expert...my job is to play video games) I just want to be allowed to compete like anyone else, to have a fair game going forward, and for things to be run like a big E-Sport should be run. (For example: They posted the leaderboards for the Club Championship series [1st place gets $100,000], and basically they do not show players Win-Loss records, and also do not disclose the formula they use for the rankings. These need to both be transparent.)
Or
B. We can go the legal route, and I will not need an attorney to win that case. The pressure would be on them to prove that all their business practices are above board (which they would be unable to do). I am not doing anything wrong by just wanting an even playing field to showcase my skills (bowhunting, numchuck etc.)
They told me to expect a response soon, and the ball is really in their court at this time. I am not trying to tell them how they can run their company, but we (or I do anyway) live in the United States, where there's laws and stuff. I am willing to go either route, but I would prefer option A because it would be much easier for all parties involved.
Thanks for reading, I may be done with the Madden community after this season. Where do I go to talk some CS/Brood War?
For anyone interested, here's a funny video of the incident with me and young_kiv. (This is actually the only footage you can find, since EA conveniently edited that part out of the official video.)
I mean, you did suggest that they're rigging the tournaments, but they're saying that people are "uncomfortable around you". All I know is that you went barefoot once at a tournament. That's all I know.

Ok so I will admit I have offered to have friendly boxing sessions (with gloves and gear etc) with a couple of dudes (bigger physically than me) who constantly disrespect me. I'm a fighter and to me sparring with someone is having fun. A couple years ago I burst onto the scene and leapfrogged to the top, and a lot of people get really jealous. Dudes in the Madden community treat me like a piece of shit. I let a lot of stuff slide because I'm a chill person, but at a certain point it gets to be too much. I just want to be treated like a human being, and be treated like any other top player would be. I'm a very peaceful person and I don't like having to fight anyone, I try to de-escalate conflicts. Regardless of what happens I might just be done with that whole community after this year. I've met people in other gaming communities who have been some of my best friends, but the Madden community is so toxic I can't even associate with most of the people involved. But ya, they have 100℅ been rigging some of these tournaments, and I wore flip flops one time to a tourney in California because that's what we wear in the summer (I know, I'm a horrible person).
tbh its the same in the starcraft community. im not a particularly high level player in the foreign bw scene, but im somewhere in the middle and i happen to take games off players who are considered good or decent from time to time and if that happens i get disrespected by certain players even tho i try to treat everyone with respect initially, but once they show that they're a piece of shit and that they can't handle losing cause they have some sort of inferiority complex then im going to remember that particular incident and treat them like a little kid from then on. some people are just salty losers

Yeah I burst onto the scene a couple years ago and catapulted straight to the top. A lot of these guys have been trying their whole lives to get where I am... basically they're just jealous ass haters. It just gets on my nerves when people constantly say shit about me online, then in person they are the nicest people. No one ever says anything to my face, its always behind my back or behind their little keyboards.
