I know, I know. It's a little bit late to be doing this. I think the concept of New Year's resolutions is kind of stupid, because you shouldn't have to wait until the new year to change yourself. I consider myself fairly lucky to be in the position I'm in right now, although I wanted to improve myself a little bit, even if I decided on my resolutions a month late.
My official resolution list
-Get better grades. I wouldn't say they're bad, per se, and I'm certainly not flunking out of school, but I think I could do a little better.
-Break out of my shell a little bit. This is something I've been wanting to do a little more, because I lowkey want more friends. (Not in a cocky way, I'm just slightly introverted.)
-Improve my general mood. As mentioned in this post, I've gone through some "mood swings", for lack of a better word, and I want to make sure that I, or nobody I know, has to go through that.
-Attend more gaming events. Unfortunately, I can only go to them once every few months, but once I get my permit, and eventually my driver's license, I'd like to change that.
Overall, I'd like to be a better me. Of course, I'm far from perfect, but I'd like to at least try to be a better person. I'm trying to be the best David I can be, and I hope you guys can be the best people you can be as well.
That's the message of this post: be the best you you can be.
~David
