Thinking about "Existentialism is a humanism".
Since becoming fluent in French I've been keen to read the classics in their original languages... Actually, that was a motivating factor in learning the darned thing in the first place.
Didn't think I would actually get it though, but it was surprisingly easy to grasp. Though I am actually still torn between the apparent separation of humans and... Everything else?
Are we the only entities for which existence preceeds essence? That's such a unsatisfactory answer! Or I guess it isn't an answer at all.
Also finished "Un appartement a Paris". Stupid ending.
I wan't to read more Vonnegut, but I can't find him in English here. And I've grown tired of reading ficiton on my kindle.
Didn't go out last night after work. Felt nice. Have begun to listen to alot of braindead 24/7-playlists on youtube, those feel nice too.
