You seem to be playing what you like and not what wins games (though picking decent heroes with above 50% win rate at least). Is probably why you have a hard time climbing and need to improve faster than the average ranked player to actually climb in rating. If all you want to do is climb in rating pick three heroes in the top win rates for 4-5 or 5k+ and only play those in ranked. | ||

I think you still have pretty big hero variance if all you want to do is climb. If you actually want to improve in general and slowly climb it seems fine. Personally I treat solo ranked as a mode where I want to win every single game with positive attitude, limited picks and items. If I don't feel like playing that way I play party or unranked and random/quest/other stuff like that.  | ||
