6 years ago, I was a mere 13 year old who entered Teamliquid who had dreams of wanting to make it to the top and become a writer here. I watched FlaSh rise to the pinnacle of Starcraft, making 6 straight Finals appearances and winning 4 of them. I watched KT Rolster defeat SKT for the 09-10 Proleague finals.
5 years ago, I watched FlaSh finally complete his 3rd MSL win, marking the end of his domination in the Brood War scene. I saw KT fall to the hands of SKT in the 10-11 Proleague finals.
4 years ago, I cried reading about Violet’s passing, and would make my first LR thread. I watched FlaSh’s Brood War career come to an end in probably the most infuriating Starcraft game I have ever seen. I still haven’t forgiven Soulkey for that game. I began to get involved in the SC2 map making scene where I would focus on the 3rd bases.
3 years ago… well nothing really happened 3 years ago. I took a break from Teamliquid and Starcraft for 2013… But I did get banned 2 times from ABL FPL. (Screw you Talin, Blisse)
2 years ago, I watched KT best SKT in the 2014 Proleague finals, and while I don’t care for SC2 much, I watched FlaSh crush Parting which was fun. I began to contribute more to Brood War and tried to begin making commentaries and writing my analysis in preview/recap articles.
1 year ago, I was asked to join as a volunteer for the Teamliquid Brood War Writing Staff and got my first ever article published. I watched hero topple the mighty Bisu in the SSL 11 finals.
5 days ago, I was finally made a full-fledged staff member here on Teamliquid. My dream from 6 years ago has been fulfilled. Easily my proudest accomplishment in my life.
Today marks my 6 year anniversary as well as my 6k celebration, albeit a small one. But it’s fun to note how all these things kind of fell on the same general time period.
Honestly, my entire journey from the beginning to now has been a very interesting and exciting endeavor. I still remember all the immature posts that I got banned for and cringing after going back and reading them yesterday. Wow, I really was that stupid and childish huh? I guess I still am haha. Thanks everyone here for making Teamliquid my second home. I love each and every single one of you for making TL so fantastic.

i pick icon based upon what unit i like the most in the series haha. i've changed it so much between races.
