Yo guys, after my last blog I thought I could keep you updated. So here is it, I'm 68th and thus officially succeeded my year :DDD
edit : more informations on this since I was asked by micronesia to do so
Basically and quickly I did this year the first year of medicine studies in France, which is a very hard year because there's a fixed number of students accepted in second year, and that number is tiny compared to the number of people trying to succeed (170 places for ~1400 students, which must be around 12% if my mental calculations are correct). That induces a huge pressure and competition between students. If you want to know more about how terrible this first year is, the amount of work required, etc, I invite you to read my previous blog linked above, it's imo a relatively interesting insight.
So now my results are published, I'm 68th on 1066 (yeah a few hundred ppl dropped out during the year), and thus I'm in the numerus clausus of 170 people allowed to pursue their studies in Medicine, which eventually leads to being a doctor 8+ years after (:
